I decided to try my hand at pixel art since I'm considering using it for cutscenes in my game mentioned in my journal. I used the first two images for my Gorgon's Palace tumblr thingamajig ([link]) since I was going to do something like this earlier but wasn't happy with how it was going. Overall, for being my first pixel are thing, I think it turned out pretty well.

I was going to make an animation for the ice one, but realized my idea wasn't possible in a gif, so I'll probably do it and a bunch of other test animations in a zip file with a bunch of mini-movies to be released via my journal later.

I know pixels are hard to work with, so I'd say your first time turned out great! My only nit-pick would be that the frost on her nose looks kind of weird to me.

Yeah, I think because it's actually snow and an icicle combined so it makes the nose larger. I probably should have redone it though like I did the one near her mouth. That one used to be connected directly to the mouth, but when you zoomed out it looked like she had a really creepy grin instead of a chattering teeth due to cold.
